The Hong Kong – Vienna Music Festival took place for the first time in 2016.
The Festival serves as a platform of cultural exchange between the two cities and aims to spread musical and cultural awareness to local audiences through a variety of programmes. The Festival includes a summer camp for children built on the foundations of the VBC method and also offers a wide range of musical and cultural workshops as well as a series of classical music concerts for music lovers of all ages.
The Festival brings together over 1,000 participants from around the world including distinguished artists, young musicians, music teachers and local students from both Hong Kong and Vienna. Such unique cross-cultural experiences challenge and aspire our participants, and bring a new-found joy of music for the community.
